Equine Colic Clinic, It’s Symptoms, Prevention, Causes and Treatment

Will grazing the spring pasture be a colic concern?  Let’s find out.  Sponsored by the Rushmore State Morgan Horse Assn., a FREE equine colic clinic will be presented by Dr. Teri Todd.  The clinic will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, weather permitting, at the Hartford, SD, Pizza Ranch at 2:00pm central time.  Dr. Teri Todd will discuss equine colic symptoms, causes, treatment and prevention.  There will be lunch and socializing before the program and Q&A after the presentation.
Teri Todd, DVM, is a native of Pierre, SD.  She is a 2001 graduate of Colorado State University.  Teri is married to James Todd and they are the proud parents of a son, Clancy, born in October of 2013.  Dr. Todd worked at Dakota Large Animal Clinic in Harrisburg, SD, as well as the Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.  She currently owns and operates Classic Veterinary Services where she provides veterinary and chiropractic services to her large and small animal patients.
Seating is limited so please RSVP by February 19, 2015.  This clinic is open to the public, however RSMHA requests that guests support the local Pizza Ranch by purchasing a meal prior to the clinic.  A meal or beverage is not included with the clinic.  Donations can also be made to RSMHA.  Please RSVP to:  this email or rsmha@sio.midco.net
